Size Guide
Find your fit
All you need is a strip of paper or a ring that already fits, plus a ruler marked in millimeters. Our rings use US sizing.
Ring size guide
Option 1: Measure your finger
- Step 1: Choose the finger, and the hand, you'll wear the ring on.
- Step 2: Cut a thin strip of paper, about 0.25 in (6 mm) wide, that lies flat against your skin.
- Step 3: Wrap it around the base of your finger, where the ring will sit.
- Step 4: Pull it snug but not tight. It should still slide over your knuckle.
- Step 5: Mark the spot where the paper overlaps.
- Step 6: Lay the strip flat and measure from the end to your mark in millimeters.
- Step 7: Measure two or three times to be sure.
- Step 8: Find your measurement in the circumference column below.
Option 2: Measure a ring you own
- Step 1: Pick a ring that fits the intended finger comfortably.
- Step 2: Measure straight across the inside, edge to edge, in millimeters.
- Step 3: Find your measurement in the inner diameter column below.

Tips for an accurate fit
- Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly fuller, and when your hands are warm. Cold fingers can measure smaller.
- Avoid measuring after exercise, a salty meal or alcohol, which can cause temporary swelling.
- Every finger is different, including the same finger on each hand, so measure the one you'll wear.
- Between sizes? Choose the larger size.
Fit by band style
- Thin bands (under about 2.5 mm) sit lightly and are easy to stack. Order your usual size.
- Wide bands and eternity bands cover more of your finger and can feel snugger. Consider going up half a size if one is offered.
- Stacked rings feel tighter together than a single band. Size for comfort.
Buying a ring as a gift?
Borrow a ring they wear on the same finger and measure its inside diameter. Or ask someone close to them. If you guess wrong, unworn rings can be exchanged for another size within 30 days of delivery, subject to availability.
Bracelet size guide
How to measure your wrist
- Step 1: Wrap a soft measuring tape, or a string, around your wrist just above the wrist bone, palm facing up.
- Step 2: If you used string, mark where it meets and measure it flat against a ruler.
- Step 3: Add about 0.5 in (1.5 cm) for a snug fit or about 1 in (2.5 cm) for a relaxed fit.
| Wrist size | Suggested bracelet length | Fit |
|---|---|---|
| 5.5–6 in (14–15 cm) | 6.5 in (16.5 cm) | Snug |
| 6–6.5 in (15–16.5 cm) | 7 in (18 cm) | Standard |
| 6.5–7 in (16.5–18 cm) | 7.5 in (19 cm) | Standard |
| 7–7.5 in (18–19 cm) | 8 in (20 cm) | Relaxed |
| 7.5–8 in (19–20 cm) | 8.5 in (21.5 cm) | Relaxed |
Tennis bracelets look best with a little room to move. For a heavy Cuban link, size for comfort.
Necklace length guide
| Length | Where it typically sits | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| 14 in (35 cm) | Close to the base of the neck | Choker look |
| 16 in (40 cm) | At the collarbone | Everyday pendants, the first layer |
| 18 in (45 cm) | Just below the collarbone | The most popular pendant length |
| 20 in (50 cm) | A few inches below the collarbone | Layering, men's everyday chains |
| 22 in (55 cm) | Upper chest | Men's chains and pendants |
| 24 in (60 cm) | Mid-chest | Statement chains, wearing over clothing |
Layering tips
- Leave about 2 in (5 cm) between layers so the chains don't tangle.
- To preview a length, drape a string at that length around your neck and check it in a mirror.
- Where a chain sits also depends on your neck size and build, so treat these as a guide.

A considered fit allows each piece to be worn comfortably every day. The charts below cover rings, necklaces and bracelets in the LOVMS collection of 925 sterling silver set with moissanite.
Ring sizing
LOVMS rings are listed in US sizes. The most reliable reference is a ring that already fits the intended finger well. Measure its inner diameter edge to edge, across the widest point, and match it to the chart below.
- Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are at their typical size.
- Wider bands sit more snugly. For bands of 6 mm or more, consider a quarter to half size up.
- If a measurement falls between two sizes, the larger size is usually the more comfortable choice.

| 7 | 17.3 mm | 54.4 mm |
| 8 | 18.1 mm | 56.9 mm |
| 9 | 18.9 mm | 59.5 mm |
| 10 | 19.8 mm | 62.1 mm |

| 12 | 21.4 mm | 67.2 mm |
Measuring without a ring
Wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of the finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure the length in millimetres. Compare the result with the inner circumference column. The strip should pass over the knuckle with slight resistance.
Necklace lengths
Chain length is measured end to end, including the clasp. Where a pendant is attached, it will sit slightly lower than the chain alone. The listed length for each piece appears on its product page.
Necklace length guide

|---|---|---|
| 16 in | 406 mm | At the collarbone |

| 22 in | 559 mm | At or just above an open neckline |
Bracelet sizing
Measure the wrist just above the wrist bone with a soft tape, keeping it flat but not tight. Add approximately 1.5 cm for a close fit or 2 to 2.5 cm for a relaxed fit.

Sizing questions
-
Which ring size should I choose if I am between two sizes
The larger of the two sizes is usually more comfortable, particularly for wider bands or in warmer weather.
-
Do men's and women's rings use the same size chart
Yes. US ring sizes refer to inner diameter and apply equally to both lines. Men's designs often have wider bands, so the band width guidance above is especially relevant.
-
How does a pendant affect necklace length
A pendant hangs below the chain, so it will sit roughly its own height lower than the placement shown for the chain length.
